NFL too Controversial for Rush Limbaugh
comments: 2
Rush Limbaugh doesn't need the controversy of the NFL . Here's an organization which regularly makes the news for it's wayward players. From criminals like Michael Vick, who break laws to satisfy his . . . more

There is not! :-) -
Charles Temm JR , Mar 20, 2009, 12:17PM EDTYeah but its Obama's war now, one he isn't saying or doing much about. All the Taliban has to do is be patient and he'll find an excuse to cut and run.

Charles Temm JR , Mar 18, 2009, 3:22PM EDTGood questions all. Technically and constitutionally, both wars (campaigns in one war?) were wrong because of no declaration of war. Afghanistan for sure was an easy one and I think Bush could have gotten Iraq too but he failed miserably in doing the right thing when he had the chance. It would have silenced all criticism that's for sure. Either vote for or against...
I think he'll fumble around in Afghanistan until party from his party causes him to declare victory and run. God knows he is doing a job on the economy... -
Charles Temm JR , Mar 17, 2009, 12:16PM EDTI do agree its a major downtick but it's till a poll and I take them with a grain of salt. Your point in that his 'popularity' was so high that this is major news again is well taken.
Iraq was a given. It would be poetic justice if Maliki paid for this considering he publicly backed Obama in the election. I do think Obama will do his best to ignore the problem/comment and try to keep boogieing up. I don't see a draft, its not wanted by the services nor is it needed unless Obama starts cutting operations/personnel budgets in the military like everything else.
As for his golden tongue getting him into trouble, no time soon. He still owns the media and too many ignorant voters. He's lost the doubters already and some of the moderates are fleeing. He won't lose the Dem hardcores or entitlement voters no matter what and that is about 50% of the voting electorate -
Charles Temm JR , Mar 16, 2009, 5:46PM EDTIf I could put money overseas, I'd do so too. Unless I see a major backlash soon on his policies, I think Obama has simply proved that Americans no longer care if the Constitution is obeyed at all. Things are not ever going to go back I'm afraid to any sort of economic sense anymore and taxes are lower for investors in many other countries.

Charles Temm JR , Mar 14, 2009, 12:37PM EDTI'd like to believe this spendathon mess would cause a revolt but its just not at the boiling point yet. Americans seem so apathetic nowadays that even this is not registering. Obama as you say is a stereotypical Dem, I mean how much more obvious can it get?
I'm not a Huckabee fan sorry to say. He's a Dem light guy and I want to see someone like Jeff Flake or DeMint as the Repub point guy. They walk the walk and are firm constitutionalists. I note that as such they get little air time in the party so I'm both pessimistic about the Repubs as a group and unwilling to bet they'll get their act together enough to get Libertarians/indies to come back in sufficient numbers. -
Charles Temm JR , Mar 13, 2009, 1:18PM EDTDan, I think that the reason the Repubs aren't any good at getting their message out is that many of them think Obama is only wrong by degree not principle. Obama is a great example of the free spending, tax increasing, and over regulating Dem many of us have been brought up to fear.
However, too many Repubs have no legs to stand on in this fight. They still line up for their pork and they are willing to use the force of government to advance their own plans just as do virtually all Dems. Until they get enough balls to actually listen to the Pauls, Flakes, Coburns, and Sanfords of their party, they will be looked at as simply Dem light by many of us. -
Charles Temm JR , Mar 12, 2009, 12:43PM EDTLOL, two good ones to thank you for. That one on Chu's comment was great too. Funny how that comment has totally slide under the radar...well not funny, expected.

Charles Temm JR , Mar 12, 2009, 11:36AM EDTGreat comment Dan, yeah things are happening fast...I thought Bush had moved too fast but compared to him (with far less reason) Obama is competing with FDR....
Good God, do you think his goal is to surpass the Great Satan himself in the first 100 Days? I know he's out spent him already! -
Brett C., Jan 25, 2009, 10:00PM ESTSo can I assume she's with you now?....you lucky bloke.
Although, I can't complain....the womanI live with resembles Angelica Huston.
[By the way, the way you feel about Bullock is the way I used to feel about Jamie Lee Curtis--although in her case, when I discovered that she was married, it turned out that I actually knew her bloody husband!]
